Do I need to integrate PayCare with my RIS?+
No. Dobbie operates inside your existing tools the same way a staff member would — logging in through a browser, navigating the same UI. If your RIS runs in Chrome, Dobbie can work in it. No IT project, no new APIs, no data migration. Give it a login and it gets to work.
How much time does our team need to invest?+
Think of it like onboarding a new staff member. In the first few weeks, your team will walk Dobbie through your workflows — how you schedule, how you handle prior auths, what makes your practice run. During that period, you'll want to review Dobbie's work and validate its decisions, the way you'd supervise a new hire. Once Dobbie knows the practice, it needs very little oversight. The only ongoing commitment: a 30-minute weekly check-in with the PayCare team.
How fast can we go live?+
Most practices have Dobbie running its first tasks within 7–10 business days. You'll set up Dobbie's access and walk us through your workflows — how you schedule, handle prior auths, and run day-to-day operations. Dobbie then observes for a few days before it starts acting. Once it does, the weekly check-ins get shorter every week.
How does PayCare stay compliant?+
Dobbie is HIPAA compliant by design. Every action is logged with a tamper-evident audit trail — exportable anytime. Because Dobbie operates inside your RIS as a user, PHI largely stays within your existing system's walls — governed by your RIS vendor's security, the same as it is for your own staff. Where data access beyond the RIS is needed, it happens only with your authorization and to the minimum extent required. We have Business Associate Agreements with every vendor we work with, including Google and AWS. All AI models and infrastructure are U.S.-based.
